Sabrina & Tom - Bellevue, Washington Wedding Videography
Sabrina and Tom
Bellevue, Washington wedding videography.
I was really excited when I was asked to shoot Tom and Sabrina's wedding in Bellevue, Washington. Bellevue city's name is derived from a French term for "beautiful view" and it's a well deserved . The city lies between Lake Washington to the west and the smaller Lake Sammamish to the east. Water is everywhere and who doesn't love being by the water for a wedding?
Adding to the water views are the mountain ranges that can be seen from the most of the city. On a clear day you can see the vistas of the Olympic Mountains which are breathtaking. If you're a little scrappy you can also see the Cascade Mountain range if you get yourself up in the hills or in a skyscraper. Bellevue has a lot to offer besides being the home of Microsoft and Google.
Sabrina and Tom’s wedding took place at Tom's Grandmother's house. In private, Tom told me that he had spent many summers as a child swimming and boating in the lakes and camping in the surrounding mountains. Even though Tom and his bride Sabrina live in Vancouver BC, when it came time to pick a spot to get married Bellevue just seemed like the natural fit.
Sabrina and Tom's first look took place on a secluded dock with just myself and the photographer. You can see for yourself how excited they were to be getting married. Sabrina had spent the whole morning getting ready surrounded by her mother, father, grandmother and girlfriends. By this point Sabrina clearly ready to see her man.
I was lucky to be able to grab some shots of Sabrina and company getting ready. I think that Sabrina's dad only cried once but I could be wrong. It was a very moving affair and I'm glad I was able to see a really loving family be with each other on a really special day.
Thank you Sabrina and Tom for one of the most beautiful weddings I’ve shot to date.
