Kae & Tristan - Old Schoolhouse Wedding Videography
Kae + Tristan Old Schoolhouse Wedding
Wedding at The Old Schoolhouse in Newberg, Oregon.
Kae and Tristan decided to get married at The Old Schoolhouse in Newberg, Oregon. The building is a beautiful, classic church that was built in 1928! That's pretty old by Oregon standards. The church comes with a lot of charm thanks to the high ceilings, lovely wood floors and large, beautiful windows that circle the whole venue.
The church sits on a beautiful four acre lot that is blooming with life. Even in the heat of summer there were flowers blooming and the grass was green and well taken care of. What makes the spot even more magical is the fact that the venue is connected to a stunning hazelnut orchard. It's a truly dreamy experience to walk though the rows of trees and take a reprieve from wedding day craziness. The orchard is also an amazing place for taking photos and I was thankful that I was able to grab some really wonderful shots.
I learned from taking to the management that often times wine makers will have wine tastings in the orchard. They'll set up a table, bring out some fruit and cheese and start popping bottles. Thought not what Kae and Tristan did, I could see a wine tasting being a really wonderful activity to add to a wedding at the Old Schoolhouse.
The wedding was a standout for me. Kae and Tristan clearly have a very close and tight-knit community around them. The outdoor ceremony was warm (almost 100 degrees!) but people didn't seem to mind to much and luckily the church's AC was cranking, providing a much needed relief for this videographer.
Please check out the amazing dance party that went down in the video. I did not seeing that coming at all! This was a dry wedding but even still people were going nuts on the dance floor.
Thank you Kae and Tristan for a truly wonderful wedding experience.
